The Land of The Rising Sun........
We have a house on Kyoto's historic Mt Hiei as well as an apartment in Tokyo which
are BOTH available, a great chance to see two of the most popular tourists areas
of Japan. The two story house in Kyoto has three rooms (two beds plus futons on
the floor) , a living area, a large office (which could also double as a 4th bedroom)
and a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons.
KYOTO:
This area is like a Japanese paradise - lots of space, trees, birds and overlooked by one
of Japans most renowned temples. The kids leave their bicycles on the footpath,
people greet you and smile and we are still 20 minutes from Kyoto. . . Kyoto is
easily Japan's most interesting tourist location.
TOKYO:
We
have a two room apartment with a glorious city view in a central and
chic
area of Tokyo.Our apartment is in an upmarket area with lots of restaurants
and interesting shops.
It is close to Mejiro station on the JR Yamanote Line - the circular
line that connects all parts
of Central Tokyo. . .
We have local ENGLISH speaking friends to help out with any practical
problems requiring translation.
I have also prepared a manual about how to make the most out of our
locations (local restuarants, tips on Japanese things, etc. ) .
