courtyard. There is also the Adobe Cottage that accommodates 2-6 people.
Visit nearby 950 mile shoreline Lake Amistad, Seminole Canyon cave dwellings and cave art, famous Alamo Village, second largest outdoor movie set in the US. Enjoy day trips east to San Antonio or west to Big Bend National Park. Visit Acuna Mexico, just three minutes away. BBC designated Del Rio and Acuna, Mexico as the most tourist friendly border towns on the entire US/Mexico border. Good shopping and great margaritas. At Villa Del Rio, we have three guest rooms and a cottage, each with a distinct style and ambiance. The rooms are richly appointed with period furnishings and luxurious linen. The Yellow Rose of Texas room: A bright, cheery, lacey room on the second floor, with hardwood floors. The room is dressed in yellow, peach and white, with a white cast iron queen-sized bed and white wicker accents. The Peacock Suite: A sumptuous setting on the second floor boasts a private sun porch, furnished with wicker; as well as an outdoor balcony, with a separate screened-in porch. The private bath is the first in this region of Texas. The furniture in this queen-size bedroom suite is a warm pine surrounded by patterns with peacock accents. The sun porch with a daybed can accommodate 2 additional people. The Adobe Cottage: Situated on the back half acre, up against the vineyard, this late 1800's 2-bedroom cottage reflects the Mexican heritage of the area.
