Nestled high on the rocks, 500 feet above the azure coloured Aegaen Sea, this luxury villa hangs over the island's infamous caldera, drawing the visitor in to the tranquility and peace of it's surroundings. Situated in prestigious Imerovigli, only fifteen minutes by foot to the island's center of Fira, this traditional cave house offers three levels of terraces to take in its panoramic view and mythical volcano.

Still retaining the the traditional architecture, it has been recently renovated and updated to offer the old with the new, providing the luxury of home comforts. It consists of three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a large living room and a kitchen. The domed master bedroom has been built deep into the rock has its own mediterranean tiled en suite sitting room and private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom lies behind the grand living room and has cathedral ceilings. Like the master bedroom, it has a queen sized bed. The third bedroom is a separate unit in itself, one we call the "honeymoon suite." Existing on the terrace above, it has its own bathroom and balcony. The kitchen consists of a breakfast nook and wraps around to the oven/stove and traditional Santorinian ceramic sink above which is a charming blue framed window with a view of the splendor of the sea and the town of Fira.

Activities and Attractions: The exquisite village of Imerovigli hosts some of the island's most exclusive hotels and itself offers restaurants, a few shops, mini markets and a car rental agency. To explore the goings on in Fira, this island's center is only a short walk away on a lovely cliffside footpath. Scattered along its narrow pebbled streets, you will find charming shops, a great variety of restaurants and tavernas, and a bustling yet upscale nightlife. In Fira's early morning hours local fishermen come to the square with their morning's catches. Might we suggest picking up the island's local fish to barbeque and enjoy on the patio back at home with a bottle of the very impressive white wines from one of the island's wineries?

For those who want to fill their days with activities, the island is full of things to do including visiting the archealogical sights, cultural museums, ancient Byzantine churches, charming wineries and discovering it's many traditional villages. For the adventurous, many water sports are offered including snorkelling and diving as well as sailing. Take a ride on a donkey to the old port where you can go on an excursion to the volcano and swim in the hot springs. Alternatively, spend your days basking in the warm mediterranean sun and swimming in the glorious sea at one of the island's many beaches.
