As featured in the Miami Herald, we have a very special place in the fabulous Florida Keys. Our property is directly on the Atlantic Ocean and has its own private sand beach for you alone to enjoy. You can picnic under the palm trees in your bare feet and snorkel almost from the front door. The ocean is warmed year round by the Gulf Stream. It is calm and shallow in front of the house.
Our spacious and sunny 4500 square foot home has 3 large bedrooms and 3 baths. Two bedrooms have King size beds and one bedroom has 2 single beds. Most of the rooms (even the laundry room) have real Dade County Pine walls and ceilings with either hardwood or tiled floors. The wood-burning fireplace lends atmosphere, as it is hardly ever-cool enough to use it. The house has all modern amenities including cable TV, VCR's, fax, washer, dryer, automatic ice maker, etc. The kitchen is well equipped including a 6- burner convertible Jenn-Aire stove, double ovens, dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and many small appliances. There are lots of books and paintings.

The Keys are a chain of islands stretching from south of Miami to just 90 Miles north of Cuba. Our island, Plantation Key, is about 1/2 mile wide and about 5 miles long. It is the 2nd island south of Miami and it is in the town of Islamorada.
The area is world famous for glorious sunsets, fabulous fishing and diving. Most of the life is centered around outdoor living and sports---even if your only sport is lounging on the beach and drinking tropical drinks from a coconut. We have lots of coconut trees on the property. The temperature is warm and pleasant most of the year. There is shopping near by and you'll find art galleries and lots of wonderful restaurants in the area.

Whenever possible, we will meet you at the property and show you around. We have lots of information about where to shop, where to go, what to do, the best restaurants, a great massage therapist, the best fishing boat captain, etc.
We don't smoke and we prefer that you smoke on the terrace.
We don't have animals at the house. We can provide a housekeeper and a gardener.
