Falconwood
is an architect designed structure built as a holiday retreat for family
and friends. They can, from here explore and enjoy the magnificent beaches, coast
and unspoilt countryside of the south-west corner of Western Australia with its
majestic Karri and Tinglewood trees. A great climate allows for full enjoyment
of the facilities and adventures that this area offers. The holiday retreat
consists of The Studio and The House. The
Studio is open plan with 54sqm on ground and 54sqm upper level +
a 14sqm deck with spectacular views to Inlet & Ocean The
Studio has flexible accommodation with it's open plan upstairs gallery.
It provides sleeping for six with 4 sofa futons and 2 single beds. There
is also a dining table to seat six. the bunkhouse is very comfortable and newly
completed. Amenities include a freezer/400litre fridge, gas stove and convector
microwave, mini hi-fi, TV/VCR & all utensils. The
House (sleeps four) was designed to complement the environment and maximize
the great views. The living area, which opens onto a
large deck, has a highvaulted timber ceiling, timber
floors, doors and cupboards. There are two large bedrooms with built in robes
a luxury bathroom, shower, laundry and two toilets. It has a fully equipped
kitchen with Italian gas stove, 500 litre fridge/freezer, Italian tiles
& solid Tasmanian oak, The well equipped kitchen includes microwave, quality
table settings, etc. There is a gas heater, Satellite TV/VCR, Radio and CD/Cassette. Location
& Environment - Falconwood is located 4km west of Denmark off the south
coast highway. Set high on Myers Mountain in two pastured and
timbered hectares with spectacular views across the valley to
Wilson's Inlet, the Southern Ocean and to Karri Timbers. The retreat is named
after a resident pair of falcons who hunt the property. All who have lived in
the Studio and House have loved the views and praised the design, decor, fittings
